What is it?
The Writers' Group in Parma, led by Wallis Wilde-Menozzi, has been writing stories, poems and essays in English for nearly twenty years.
The number of writers has varied and the composition of the writers' backgrounds has varied, but the reason for the group's existence has remained passionate and constant.
The writers have wanted to bring to the city new voices and points of view. They have also wanted to express themselves in narratives that are personal, alive with characters and voices and rhythms that are part of their English language.
We will be posting our work on this site on a fairly regular basis. We welcome responses from readers and we hope that our work adds a dimension to your images of Parma, the city it is becoming.
